Tom brings over four decades of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) services, having held roles as a Safety Manager, Safety Director, and consultant for more than ten years. In addition to his extensive practical experience, Tom holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Safety and Security, along with numerous certifications and qualifications. His expertise includes Process Safety Management (PSM), Design Hazard Analyses (DHAs), Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, and OSHA training in both General Industry and Construction.
With over 30 years of experience in the food processing, grain handling, and manufacturing industries, Tom has also worked extensively in warehousing, over-the-road transportation, and construction. His background includes significant expertise in refrigeration and ISO qualifications. As an experienced auditor, Tom excels in communicating hazards and collaborating with personnel to mitigate exposure.

Dave has dedicated four decades to serving the agricultural community and industry, with over 20 years of focus on safety, environmental health, and quality performance. He brings extensive expertise in hazard recognition, demonstrated through his decades of conducting Mock OSHA audits in the food processing, grain handling, and manufacturing/warehousing sectors. Dave has also been an active member of the GEAPS educational planning committee for nearly ten years, collaborating with industry leaders to improve knowledge on reducing Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) potential events. Additionally, Dave has served on several industry boards, including the AASA, an alliance dedicated to enhancing the safe handling, storage, and distribution of agricultural chemicals. His consulting experience spans all 48 contiguous states as well as Canada. Throughout his career, Dave has mentored numerous young professionals in both the agricultural and safety fields.

Kurt resides in Northwest Iowa, where he retired in 2021 after a distinguished 30-year career in law enforcement. He began his career with the City of Alta Police Department before joining the Fayette County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff in 1995. Kurt later accepted a position with the State of Iowa’s Department of Transportation,
Kurt resides in Northwest Iowa, where he retired in 2021 after a distinguished 30-year career in law enforcement. He began his career with the City of Alta Police Department before joining the Fayette County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff in 1995. Kurt later accepted a position with the State of Iowa’s Department of Transportation, where he served as a State Officer with the Iowa Motor Vehicle Enforcement for 22 years.
Throughout his career, Kurt specialized in various roles within the agency, including Field Training Officer (FTO), CPR Instructor, Department Coordinator, and Certified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) for 17 years. He was also a member of the Color Guard Unit, an outreach instructor for industry groups, and a Human Trafficking Instructor for the state. Kurt holds certifications in MCSAP Inspections, including Haz-Mat and Cargo Tank Certification.
Currently, Kurt serves as a Traffic Incident Management Instructor (TIMS) for First Responders, working as a Field Staff Member with the Department of Public Safety's Fire Service Training Bureau. Additionally, he has served as a volunteer firefighter since 1987 and continues to contribute to his local fire department. He also retired his EMT license after over 30 years of service as an EMS volunteer.
After retiring from law enforcement in 2021, Kurt served as the Safety Director for Stockton Towing, Inc. in Sioux City and Le Mars, Iowa, until his retirement in February 2025.
Kurt and his wife of 35 years, Kris, enjoy traveling and spending time with their adult daughters, especially visiting their new granddaughter in sunny Arizona. In his free time, Kurt enjoys fishing, cooking, traveling, and spending time on the boat.
